United Nations satellite UNESCOSat to test viability of astronaut poo as space fuel
I love this quote:
"...the UN can see a way for our astronauts to power their way through the galaxy partly aided by their own excrement."

Colossians 2:8
Don't let anyone fool you by using senseless arguments. These arguments may sound wise, but they are only human teachings. They come from the powers of this world and not from Christ.

Fun Run Times - Pub2Pub 2010
Here are my updated times following the Pub2Pub run on Sunday.
I have improved my position and my time, but the 'improvement' is a bit misleading because the race was started in Griffith Park near Long Reef due to the Dee Why Lagoon being open to the sea. If we had started at the Dee Why SLSC as planned, we would have had to wade through almost waist deep water near the beginning of the run.
We found this out by accident the previous week during a 'dry run' :-) of the beach section. We did this as part of my regular weekly 'Footprint Fitness' Saturday morning training class. Running for 14km with wet sandy feet inside wet sandy shoes doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun to me!
Fortunately the organizers took the same view! The net result was that almost 2 km (including 800m of sand) were shaved off the original distance.

What is Mbps?
Just in case, like Tony Abbott today you can't answer this question.
